Construction, Road Opening and Driveway Permit

A Road Opening/Driveway Permit must be obtained in the name of the property owner through the Zoning Division Office:

1. Prior to issuance of a Zoning Permit for construction of a new home or building, that will require construction of a new driveway access to a road with roadside ditches.

2. Prior to initiating any type of construction, excavation or driveway apron paving within the road right-of way.

Road Opening/Driveway Permit

A Road Opening/Driveway Permit must be obtained in the name of the property owner through the Zoning Division Office. This permit must be obtained prior to issuance of a Zoning Permit for construction of a new home or building that will require construction of a new driveway access to a road with roadside ditches. A road opening permit must be obtained prior to initiating construction, excavation, or driveway apron paving within the road right-of-way.
