City of Green Partners with Area Agency on Aging and LifeLine to Offer Seniors
LifeLine Medical Alert Free of Charge to Residents Who Qualify
Green, OH – Mayor Dick Norton is pleased to announce that the City of Green has partnered with the Area Agency on Aging and LifeLine Medical Alert to offer seniors LifeLine Medical Alert service free of charge to those who qualify.
LifeLine Medical Alert is an emergency response monitoring service for individuals with serious life-threatening conditions or seniors who live alone. The service is available for anyone in Summit County who could benefit from having the peace of mind that help can be summoned by the push of a button. Those who most benefit from the system are typically homebound older adults who live alone as well as those recovering from an illness or injury or have medical problems or a disabling condition.
The City is offering the service free of charge to seniors who live in Green that meet the requirements above and have a financial need. To learn more about if you or a loved one qualifies for this free program, call the Area Agency on Aging at 877-770-5558.
