City Council Solicits Applications for Design Review Board and Historic Preservation Comission

Green, OH – Green’s City Council is currently accepting applications for appointment to the Design Review Board and the Historic Preservation Commission.   Applicants must be a resident of the City of Green.

Applicants for the Design Review Board shall be a registered architect, landscape architect, surveyor, or certified land planner or shall have significant experience in building design or construction or a related field.  The position is a one or two-year term and is paid a stipend quarterly.  The Design Review Board meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 8:30 a.m.

Applicants for the Historic Preservation Commission should possess a demonstrated special interest, experience or knowledge in history, architecture or related disciplines.  An architect, archaeologist, landscape architect, historian, planner or related historic preservation field is encouraged.   This volunteer position is a multi-year term.   The Historic Preservation Commission meets a minimum of four times a year on the 4th Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
