Christmas at Town Park in conjunction with the Kandy Kane Xpress is Saturday, Dec. 3 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Central Administration Building

The City of Green's Christmas at Town Park & the Kandy Kane Xpress Holiday Festival is Saturday, December 3 at the Central Administration Building, 1755 Town Park Blvd.

Green, OH - The City of Green is hosting its Christmas at Town Park in conjunction with the Dane Foundation's annual Kandy Kane Xpress Holiday Festival on Saturday, December 3 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Central Administration Building, 1755 Town Park Blvd.     

Come visit the Central Administration Building transformed into a winter wonderland to visit with Santa, make holiday crafts, decorate cookies, and, of course, ride the Kandy Kane Xpress.    Admission is a suggested donation of a toiletry/personal care item such as shampoo, soap, toilet paper, etc. per family.  All activities with the exception of visiting with Santa require 1 to 3 tickets each.   Tickets may be purchased for $1 each at the door and all proceeds benefit The Dane Foundation.  

Santa will be available to visit with children in the City Council Chambers from 2 to 4:45 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.   In addition, the mini-Christmas trees will be on display and available to bid on via a silent auction throughout the evening.   Trees are still available to purchase and enter into the auction, please contact the City of Green Parks and Recreation office at 330-896-6621 or click here for more details.   Trees are $25 each and are due by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23 to the Parks and Recreation office, 1755 Town Park Blvd.    A special preview night to view the mini Christmas trees is Tuesday, November 29 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

At 5:00 p.m., holiday music by the Green High School Ensemble, led by choral director Alana Starr, will usher in Santa, who will arrive by a Green Fire Engine at approximately 5:15 p.m.   Santa will join Mayor Dick Norton in lighting the holiday lights, followed by fireworks.   Complimentary cookies and hot cocoa will be served from 5 to 6 p.m.
