The City of Green is Inviting Businesses and Organizations to Partner as a Green Gives Back Food Drive Drop off Location for the Third Annual Citywide Food Drive from November 1 through December 31
Green, OH – The City of Green is inviting all businesses and organizations in Green to partner with the City to serve as a drop off location for the third annual Green Gives Back, a citywide food drive, from November 1 through December 31, 2015 to benefit Green Good Neighbors. Businesses may choose to be a public drop off location or as an employee-only participant in the Green Gives Back Food Drive.
Those businesses interested in participating will receive promotional flyers and a collection container. The City service division will administer the drive by picking up and delivering donated items to Green Good Neighbors. A number of scheduled pick-up days will be set for November and December along with a final roundup of items in early January.
“In addition to retail and public spaces, we are really looking to add businesses this year who are interested in doing an employee-only food drive for their organization,” said Jeanne Greco, human resources manager and organizer of the food drive. “We have tried to make it easy for businesses and their employees to make donations by proving the logistics of picking up and delivering the donations, in turn we hope more businesses will join in and rally their employees to give back to make this our biggest year ever.”
Businesses interested in being a drop off location for the public or participate as an employee-only site, please contact Kelly Lavaco, email@example.com or call 330-896-5500. For more information about the Green Gives Back Food Drive, visit www.cityofgreen.org/green-gives-back.
