Arlington Road and SR 619 Construction Project

Project Overview: 

The next major construction project within the City of Green is the Arlington Road Corridor from I77 to about 1/4 of a mile past State Route 619 (Turkeyfoot Lake Road) including a major intersection reconstruction and widening at Arlington and SR619.  The project is a two-season project with construction beginning in 2010 through 2011.  Check out our construction fact sheet for further details.

Cost of the Project: $11.7 million -- which includes $2 million in Federal Stimulus Funds

Construction manager: Ohio Department of Transportation, www.buckeyetraffic.org

Scope of Project:  From I77 south to September Drive (just past SR619) Arlington will be widened to include a center turn lane.  Jarvis Road (near I77 southbound exit ramp) will be rerouted to enter the Arlington Ridge Plaza traffic light.  The intersection of Arlington Road and SR619 will be widened to include four lanes plus a dedicated left and right turn lane north of the intersection; south of the intersection will have four lanes and one dedicated left turn lane; and east and west on SR619 will include a dedicated right and left turn lane and one through lane.
